21.1km running

The final run competition takes place at the area of the eventarena and the easternshore as well as westernshore of the Traisen River.The half marathon will be splitted in two laps. It’ll lead through the eventarena 5 times before the finish, which is as well in the eventarena

The running course starts with a lap through the eventarena and one lap on the track. Following, the athletes will be lead on the ground of the NÖ Landessportschule to the exit of Dr.- Adolf- Schärfer-Straße. The athletes will run the bikeway Dr.- Adolf-Schärfer-Straße till the easternshore of the Traisenriver.

There the running course will continue along the shore over the bridge (Professor-Roland-Rainer-Weg) in to the Governments’ Quarter (Regierungsviertel). By running a loop along the Landhaus Boulevard, the Millenniumstreet, Franz-Schubert-Platz, ORF Niederösterreich, Neue Herrengasse the athletes will reach the westernshore of the Traisenriver, which they will leave behind at the wooden bridge at Lake “Viehofner See”.

The athletes will run back to the eventarena via the new access road and the Bimbo-Binder-Promenade.

The same course is to be run a second time.

There will be 5 aidstations at the run course. The first will be next to the eventarena, others close to the Dr.-Ferdinand-Sauerbruch-Gasse, Governments’ Quarter (Regierungsviertel) and at the Traisenpromenade.

As there are Athlets in the event arena all the time the spectators are kept in an excellent mood. For the athlets crossing the event arena is a special highlight.
