90km bike

The 90km- lap guarantees a fair and safe race. The athletes start from the transition area at the. The big highlights of the course is the 18km section on the S33 motorway between St. Pölten and Traismauer and the two climbs of Hollenburg and Aggsbach. The 90km course is completely closed to public traffic for two hours.

There will be 2 aid stations on the course at Krustetten after 25km and Gansbach after 65km. There are no self service stations on the course.

At the beginning of the course the athletes have to cross first the settlement of Ratzersdorf which is next to St. Pölten. From St. Pölten the course runs further on the motorway S33 for 18km. Afterwards the athletes have to bike through the “Winestreet” of Hollenburg and Krustetten to Mautern.
The bike course contiunes on the B33 through the region of the Wachau along the river “Donau”. In Aggsbach the course turns left onto the road L162 to Gansbach. From the highest point the bike course goes back through the “Dunkelsteinerwald” until Weyersdorf, then turns left onto the L111 in direction to Pfaffing, afterwards to Schweinern and Grünz. Then turn left onto the last ascent through Obritzberg. Next village is Großrust, then Weitern that finishes the bike lap.
